Birdsmith - wax carving workshop

Learn the wonders of wax carving in this beginners tutorial...

I will guide you through the processes of carving a simple ring or pendant in a 2-2.5hr fun session - no experience necessary although a certain amount of hand dexterity is required (sharp tools and heat can be used and will be at your own risk)

- children must be over 14 and accompanied by an adult

Price covers tuition and refreshments and all materials on the day - there are pieces of mine on display for inspiration but it’s great to do some research before you come and maybe save some pics of the look you want to emulate 

The casting charges will be an additional charge - depending on weights and metal preferred - if you don't want to get your piece cast, this is a much fairer way to do it - casting charges will vary from £68 … which will include final polishing and delivery -  this is payable at the end of the workshop (or at a later date if you want to take your wax away for a while before you have it cast)
