Your guarantee

along with your hallmarking which guarantees metal fineness -  all pieces come with a 12 month guarantee - this covers stone settings and metal components - obvious mishandling or accidental breakage is not covered. See my page on care and repair.

Online purchases

Birdsmith has a a 14 day refund/exchange policy for online purchases (excluding special customised orders).

please contact me for instructions so that I can expect your package back - all returns must be tracked and all goods over £50 must be returned by Royal Mail Special Delivery so it is fully insured.

all goods must be returned un-worn, in their original boxes/soft bags and be undamaged and in suitably protective packaging. 

anything returned that is unsuitable for resale, will not be refunded.

Bespoke/commission work

a 50% deposit will be taken at the start of production, to cover materials ordered, design and research time etc. 

- any alterations to design or materials, after approval of your design during production will incur extra charges.

the 50% balance is due at completion, before delivery.

- any amendments after delivery will be charged accordingly (as a new commission request) therefore it is vital to measure ring sizes accurately and give measurements on chain lengths etc, at point of order.

Refunds are not offered for Bespoke/commission work
